Photo Challenge Blog: Ground Shot
I know I know it hasn't even been a week since my last photo challenge blog post. However, the ground shot that I took is very appropriate for today's date. My husband and I were turning onto the highway which is next to a field owned by a local rancher. The rancher put up a tribute for 9-11 and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to capture such honor. We may not all agree why we are at war sometimes but I think we could all agree that for those who fight for us and protect us they deserve to be honored and remembered.

Love love love this pic Rob! You've got an eye! I couldn't even think about September 11th stuff with my dad in Afghanistan. I tried, I looked on CNN and the first thing I saw was a base in Afghanistan had been bombed. So clicked outta that pretty darn fast! O hey, btw, you should check out this blog. http://www.thesitsgirls.com/ It's called the Sitstahood, and it's so awesome. It's for women with blogs, and putting them in touch with each other! It's so awesome, when I started my blog (which I've slowly stopped doing), it introduced me to people with the same interests as me. Plus when you post stuff on there, it can direct tons of ppl to your blog! I love the blog Rob! Keep the great ideas coming!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much. I could only imagine how hard it is to even look at the t.v. while your dad is over there. You and your family are always in my thoughts and prayers. I will definitely have to check out that website. One of my biggest accomplishments so far has been doing this blog so it's wonderful to hear the great feedback.
