12 Days of Christmas: Ugly Sweaters and The Village

  I forgot to post yesterdays 12 Days of Christmas so I will post two today.  My first one is our ugly sweaters that we jazzed up a little and wore to our friends ugly sweater party.  We had a BLAST and loved seeing everyone wearing ugly sweaters.


  I must say that the sweaters are very comfortable.  Ugly, but comfortable.

  My second post is our village that we started this year.  Finally after several years of talking about it we started to gather pieces.  We have quite a collection for our first year.  Fully equipped with an ice skating rink and a tree lot we are well on our way to an entire metropolitan city.  It's hard for me to pick my favorite piece.  At night when they are all lit up it reminds me of Disneyland.

    We have a Christmas Village, and I love, love, love it! Grandma painted all the homes, she still has a firehouse to paint. (I've been asking her to paint it for years.) The church is my favorite, she put wrapping paper in the windows, and when it lights up they look like stained glass.
